Lymphatic Drainage Face Massage

A gentle, rhythmic facial massage focused on encouraging lymphatic flow and moving excess fluid. Light-pressure sweeping movements follow the natural lymphatic pathways of the face, making this a soothing option when your complexion feels puffy, congested or simply in need of a reset.

What to expect

Cleanse & Prepare

Your treatment begins with cleansing to refresh the skin and prepare it for the massage and skincare that follow.

Light, Rhythmic Massage

Precise sweeping movements are performed using light pressure rather than deep massage, following the natural pathways of the lymphatic system.

Relax & Reset

Particular attention can be given to areas where puffiness or tension tends to gather, including around the eyes, jawline and sinus area, leaving the face feeling lighter and refreshed.

Illuminated Vitality Face Massage & LED Therapy

A radiance-focused treatment combining rhythmic facial massage with LED Light Therapy. The massage works across areas including the jaw, forehead and brow to release tension, encourage lymphatic drainage and refine the appearance of your facial contours before LED completes the ritual.

What to expect

Cleanse & Prepare

Your treatment begins with cleansing to refresh the skin and prepare it for the massage and skincare that follow.

Sculpt & Release

Rhythmic massage techniques focus on encouraging circulation and lymphatic drainage while releasing tension held around areas such as the jaw, forehead and brow.

LED & Finish

Your session concludes with LED Light Therapy followed by targeted skincare to leave the complexion refreshed and luminous.

why you'll love it

Ease Puffiness

Both treatments incorporate techniques centred around lymphatic drainage, with the dedicated Lymphatic Drainage Face Massage placing this at the heart of the session.

Release Facial Tension

Areas such as the jaw, forehead and brow receive focused attention, making these treatments as much about unwinding as appearance.

Refresh Your Features

Massage can help reveal a more defined-looking jawline and cheekbones by addressing excess fluid and puffiness.

Choose Your Finish

Opt for pure hands-on lymphatic massage or combine sculpting massage with LED when you want an additional skin-focused boost.

maintaining the results

Arrive With Clean Skin
Where possible, come to your appointment without heavy make-up or skincare so your therapist can begin with a clean base.

Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water before your appointment.

For those taking the Illuminated Vitality treatment, Lotus Spa advises to drink around 2–3 glasses of water beforehand.

Tell Us About Recent Treatments
Let your therapist know about any recent dental work or facial injectables.

If you've had recent Botox or fillers, Lotus Spa advises to wait two weeks before booking a face massage.

Keep Hydrating
Continue drinking water throughout the rest of the day and into the following 24 hours, particularly after lymphatic drainage.

Keep Make-Up Light
After the Illuminated Vitality treatment, avoid heavy make-up for the remainder of the day and allow your skin to enjoy the oils and skincare used during your treatment.

Take It Easy
Avoid intense exercise for around 12 hours after Illuminated Vitality. A gentle walk is encouraged after Lymphatic Drainage to help keep your circulation moving.

Limit Salt & Alcohol
Following Lymphatic Drainage, try to reduce salty foods and alcohol for 24 hours to prevent fluid retention.
